Why Zoffle exists

Almost everyone occasionally needs to do something simple with a file: shrink a photo so it fits an upload form, combine two PDFs into one, turn a spreadsheet into a different format, or make a QR code for a poster. The tools that show up first in a search for these tasks nearly all work the same way — you upload your file to their server, they process it there, and you download the result. For a holiday snapshot that is fine. For a signed contract, a payslip, a medical form or a customer list, it means handing a private document to a company you have never heard of.

Zoffle was built to remove that trade-off. Every tool on the site runs in your own browser using standard web technology. Your file is opened in your device's memory, processed there, and saved straight back to your downloads. It is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. We could not read your files even if we wanted to, because they never reach a server we control.

What we offer

The site currently includes tools to compress and convert images, merge, split and rotate PDF files, turn images into a PDF, convert between CSV, Excel and JSON, and generate QR codes. Alongside the tools we publish plain-language guides explaining how to get the best result from each one — which format to choose, what the quality settings actually do, and the common pitfalls to avoid.

How Zoffle is funded

Zoffle is free to use for everyday needs, supported by advertising on the free tier. For people who use the tools often, an optional Pro subscription removes the daily limit, the file size limit and all advertising for a small monthly fee. There is no venture funding behind the site and no data being sold — the business model is simply ads and subscriptions, and nothing else.

Privacy in plain terms

Because file processing happens in your browser, the files themselves are never collected. The only personal data we handle is an email address, and only if you choose to subscribe to Pro — it is used purely to verify your subscription. Advertising and analytics run only after you consent, and are switched off by default. The full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

Who is behind it

Zoffle is an independent project run from Finland by a small team. It is not affiliated with Adobe, Google, Microsoft or any other company whose file formats it works with. Miksi Zoffle on olemassa

Lähes jokainen tarvitsee toisinaan tehdä jotain yksinkertaista tiedostolle: pienentää valokuvan mahtumaan latauslomakkeeseen, yhdistää kaksi PDF:ää yhdeksi, muuntaa taulukon toiseen muotoon tai tehdä QR-koodin julisteeseen. Työkalut jotka nousevat hauissa ensimmäisenä toimivat lähes kaikki samalla tavalla – lataat tiedostosi niiden palvelimelle, ne käsittelevät sen siellä ja lataat tuloksen. Lomakuvalle se on ihan ok. Allekirjoitetulle sopimukselle, palkkakuitille, lääkärintodistukselle tai asiakaslistalle se tarkoittaa yksityisen asiakirjan luovuttamista yritykselle, josta et ole koskaan kuullutkaan.

Zoffle rakennettiin poistamaan tämä kompromissi. Jokainen sivuston työkalu toimii omassa selaimessasi tavallisella verkkoteknologialla. Tiedostosi avataan laitteesi muistiin, käsitellään siellä ja tallennetaan suoraan takaisin latauksiisi. Sitä ei koskaan lähetetä meille eikä kenellekään muulle. Emme voisi lukea tiedostojasi vaikka haluaisimme, koska ne eivät koskaan päädy hallitsemallemme palvelimelle.

Mitä tarjoamme

Sivustolla on tällä hetkellä työkalut kuvien pakkaamiseen ja muuntamiseen, PDF-tiedostojen yhdistämiseen, jakamiseen ja kiertämiseen, kuvien muuntamiseen PDF:ksi, CSV-, Excel- ja JSON-muotojen välisiin muunnoksiin sekä QR-koodien luomiseen. Työkalujen rinnalla julkaisemme selkokielisiä oppaita, jotka selittävät miten kustakin saa parhaan tuloksen – minkä muodon valita, mitä laatuasetukset oikeasti tekevät ja mitä yleisiä sudenkuoppia kannattaa välttää.

Miten Zoffle rahoitetaan

Zoffle on ilmainen käyttää arkisiin tarpeisiin, ja sitä tukee mainonta ilmaisella tasolla. Usein työkaluja käyttäville valinnainen Pro-tilaus poistaa päivärajan, tiedostokokorajan ja kaikki mainokset pientä kuukausimaksua vastaan. Sivuston takana ei ole riskirahoitusta eikä dataa myydä – liiketoimintamalli on yksinkertaisesti mainokset ja tilaukset, ei mitään muuta.

Yksityisyys selkokielellä

Koska tiedostojen käsittely tapahtuu selaimessasi, itse tiedostoja ei koskaan kerätä. Ainoa käsittelemämme henkilötieto on sähköpostiosoite, ja sekin vain jos päätät tilata Pron – sitä käytetään pelkästään tilauksesi todentamiseen. Mainonta ja analytiikka toimivat vasta suostumuksesi jälkeen ja ovat oletuksena pois päältä. Täydet tiedot ovat tietosuojaselosteessamme.

Kuka on takana

Zoffle on riippumaton projekti, jota pyörittää Suomesta käsin pieni tiimi. Se ei ole sidoksissa Adobeen, Googleen, Microsoftiin tai mihinkään muuhun yritykseen, jonka tiedostomuotojen kanssa se toimii.
