This policy explains what personal data Zoffle ("we", "us") collects, why we collect it, and what rights you have. It applies to the website www.zoffle.fi.

2. Your files are not collected

This is the most important point: the files you process with Zoffle are never uploaded to our servers. Image compression, PDF merging and splitting, and spreadsheet conversion all run locally inside your web browser using JavaScript. We never see, receive, store or transmit the contents of your files.

3. Data we do process

• Email address — only if you subscribe to Zoffle Pro. It is used to create your subscription and to verify your Pro status when you return. It is stored by our payment processor, Stripe, and in your own browser's local storage.
• Payment details — card numbers and billing information are entered directly on Stripe's payment page and are processed solely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Local browser storage — we store your daily usage counter, chosen language, cookie choice and Pro status in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
• Server logs — our hosting provider (Vercel) records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and timestamps for security and reliability purposes.
• Advertising data — if you consent to advertising cookies, Google may collect data as described in section 5.

4. Legal basis for processing

• Contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) — processing your email and payment to provide the Pro subscription you purchased.
• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — advertising and analytics cookies, which are only set after you accept them.
• Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) — server logs required to keep the service secure and operational.
• Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) — retaining accounting records of purchases as required by law.

5. Cookies and advertising

We use two categories of storage:

• Essential — local storage entries needed for the site to function (language choice, daily usage counter, Pro status). These are always active and are not used for tracking.
• Advertising — Google AdSense may place cookies to serve and measure advertising. Advertising cookies are never used for Pro subscribers.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before advertising cookies are used. Consent is collected through Google's certified Consent Management Platform, which appears when you first visit the site and lets you accept, refuse, or configure your choices in detail.

Google may use cookies and device identifiers to personalise ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can review Google's practices and opt out at policies.google.com/technologies/ads and manage personalisation at adssettings.google.com.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the privacy settings link shown by the consent tool, or by clearing your browser's site data for zoffle.fi, which will make the consent message appear again.

6. Third parties we share data with

• Stripe (payment processing) — stripe.com/privacy
• Vercel (website hosting) — vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
• Google AdSense (advertising, only with consent) — policies.google.com/privacy

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

7. International transfers

Some of the providers above operate outside the EU/EEA. Such transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision, as set out in each provider's own privacy documentation.

8. Retention

Subscription and billing data is retained for as long as your subscription is active and afterwards for the period required by accounting legislation (in Finland, generally six years). Server logs are retained for a short period as determined by our hosting provider. Data stored in your browser remains until you clear your browser data.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact info@zoffle.fi.

If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi) or your local supervisory authority.

10. Children

Zoffle is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service develops. The date at the top indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be communicated on this page.

2. Tiedostojasi ei kerätä

Tämä on tärkein kohta: Zofflella käsittelemiäsi tiedostoja ei koskaan ladata palvelimillemme. Kuvien pakkaus, PDF-tiedostojen yhdistäminen ja jakaminen sekä taulukkomuunnokset tapahtuvat kaikki paikallisesti selaimessasi JavaScriptin avulla. Emme koskaan näe, vastaanota, tallenna tai välitä tiedostojesi sisältöä.

3. Käsittelemämme tiedot

• Sähköpostiosoite — vain jos tilaat Zoffle Pron. Sitä käytetään tilauksen luomiseen ja Pro-tilan todentamiseen palatessasi. Se tallennetaan maksunvälittäjämme Stripen järjestelmiin sekä oman selaimesi paikalliseen tallennustilaan.
• Maksutiedot — korttinumerot ja laskutustiedot syötetään suoraan Stripen maksusivulla, ja niitä käsittelee ainoastaan Stripe. Emme koskaan näe tai tallenna korttitietojasi.
• Selaimen paikallinen tallennustila — tallennamme päivittäisen käyttölaskurin, valitsemasi kielen, evästevalintasi ja Pro-tilan selaimesi paikalliseen tallennustilaan. Nämä tiedot pysyvät laitteellasi eikä niitä lähetetä meille.
• Palvelinlokit — palveluntarjoajamme (Vercel) kirjaa tavanomaisia teknisiä tietoja, kuten IP-osoitteen, selaintyypin ja aikaleimat, tietoturvan ja toimintavarmuuden vuoksi.
• Mainostiedot — jos hyväksyt mainosevästeet, Google voi kerätä tietoja kohdan 5 mukaisesti.

4. Käsittelyn oikeusperuste

• Sopimus (GDPR 6 art. 1 b) — sähköpostin ja maksun käsittely ostamasi Pro-tilauksen toimittamiseksi.
• Suostumus (6 art. 1 a) — mainos- ja analytiikkaevästeet, jotka asetetaan vasta kun hyväksyt ne.
• Oikeutettu etu (6 art. 1 f) — palvelinlokit, jotka ovat tarpeen palvelun turvallisuuden ja toiminnan varmistamiseksi.
• Lakisääteinen velvoite (6 art. 1 c) — ostotapahtumien kirjanpitoaineiston säilyttäminen lain edellyttämällä tavalla.

5. Evästeet ja mainonta

Käytämme kahdenlaista tallennusta:

• Välttämättömät — paikalliseen tallennustilaan tallennettavat tiedot, joita sivusto tarvitsee toimiakseen (kielivalinta, päivittäinen käyttölaskuri, Pro-tila). Nämä ovat aina käytössä eikä niitä käytetä seurantaan.
• Mainonta — Google AdSense voi asettaa evästeitä mainosten näyttämiseksi ja mittaamiseksi. Mainosevästeitä ei käytetä koskaan Pro-tilaajille.

Jos sijaintisi on Euroopan talousalueella, Yhdistyneessä kuningaskunnassa tai Sveitsissä, pyydämme suostumuksesi ennen mainosevästeiden käyttöä. Suostumus kerätään Googlen sertifioidulla suostumustenhallinta-alustalla (CMP), joka näkyy ensimmäisellä käynnilläsi ja jossa voit hyväksyä, kieltäytyä tai määrittää valintasi yksityiskohtaisesti.

Google voi käyttää evästeitä ja laitetunnisteita mainosten personointiin tällä ja muilla sivustoilla käyntiesi perusteella. Voit tutustua Googlen käytäntöihin ja kieltäytyä osoitteessa policies.google.com/technologies/ads sekä hallita personointia osoitteessa adssettings.google.com.

Voit muuttaa tai peruuttaa suostumuksesi milloin tahansa suostumustyökalun näyttämästä tietosuoja-asetusten linkistä tai tyhjentämällä selaimesi sivustotiedot zoffle.fi:n osalta, jolloin suostumusviesti tulee uudelleen näkyviin.

6. Kolmannet osapuolet

Emme myy henkilötietojasi kenellekään.

7. Tietojen siirto EU:n ulkopuolelle

Osa edellä mainituista palveluntarjoajista toimii EU:n/ETA:n ulkopuolella. Tällaiset siirrot perustuvat Euroopan komission vakiosopimuslausekkeisiin tai riittävyyspäätökseen kunkin palveluntarjoajan omien tietosuojadokumenttien mukaisesti.

8. Säilytysaika

Tilaus- ja laskutustietoja säilytetään tilauksen voimassaolon ajan ja sen jälkeen kirjanpitolainsäädännön edellyttämän ajan (Suomessa yleensä kuusi vuotta). Palvelinlokeja säilytetään lyhyen ajan palveluntarjoajan määrittämällä tavalla. Selaimeesi tallennetut tiedot säilyvät, kunnes tyhjennät selaimesi tiedot.

9. Oikeutesi

GDPR:n nojalla sinulla on oikeus saada pääsy tietoihisi, oikaista tai poistaa ne, rajoittaa käsittelyä tai vastustaa sitä, siirtää tiedot järjestelmästä toiseen sekä peruuttaa suostumuksesi milloin tahansa. Oikeuksien käyttämiseksi ota yhteyttä: info@zoffle.fi.

Jos katsot, että tietojasi on käsitelty lainvastaisesti, voit tehdä valituksen tietosuojavaltuutetun toimistoon (tietosuoja.fi).

10. Lapset

Zofflea ei ole suunnattu alle 16-vuotiaille, emmekä tietoisesti kerää heiltä henkilötietoja.

11. Muutokset tähän selosteeseen

Voimme päivittää tätä selostetta palvelun kehittyessä. Yläreunan päivämäärä kertoo, milloin selostetta on viimeksi muutettu. Olennaisista muutoksista tiedotetaan tällä sivulla.
